This procedure begins with trimming the nails, lightly soaking the hands and cuticles, and then an OPI or CND Shellac polish is applied for flawless color that lasts up to two weeks. A base coat layer primes nails for the gel and then is firmed up under a UV light. After each coat is painted on, your hands are placed under a UV light for another 30 seconds. The final layer is a glossy topcoat, which only takes another minute under the UV light to complete the service.
